RJ’s Auction Service raises $8,530 for the American Cancer Society and St Jude Research Hospital this past auction!

Throughout the year RJ’s Auction Service dedicates time in our auction for to raise awareness and charity for the American Cancer Society and St Jude Research Hospital. One of the ways they do this is to offer a seat in our auction house in exchange for a donation to either charity. The winning donation gets the chance to pick a prime seat and enjoy that seat for a year! Our auction house can be standing room only so to have your own seat is a fantastic luxury.

This year we auctioned a total of 55 seats starting out with the donation of $220 per seat!

We would to thank the following people for donating items to RJ’s Auction Service for this weekend’s auction:

- Jerry & Betty Buckhalter for donating home made salmon planks and pork loins that they grilled and smoked.

- Julie McNickle for three beautiful handmade blankets for the KU and K-State fans as well as the Red Hat Society.

- Darleen Bogren for 15 dozen farm fresh eggs and a chocolate angel food cake.

- Jonie Thompson for a red velvet cake

- Deanna Baker for a selection of handmade jewelry sets featuring beads, crystals, semi precious stones and the pink cancer awareness ribbon.

We are proud to announce that with those fine folks help and the offer of the seats for a donation RJ’s Auction Service was able to raise $6,960 for the American Cancer Society and $1,570 for the St Jude Research Hospital.
