It is important that the "Terms and Conditions of Auction" and "Information for Buyers and Sellers" be read. No exceptions to those "Terms and Conditions of Auction" and "Buyers and Seller Information" can be made except in writing and signed by a member of the auction staff.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

I am unable to attend the auction, and therefore request that you bid on my behalf on the above item(s) up to but not exceeding the amount(s) listed. With this respect, I acknowledge the following conditions of sale and agree to the same:

1. Bidding is open until the 12 o’clock noon the day before the auction is conducted.

2. In order to bid you must already have a registered bidder number. If the registered bidder number is not included on your bid form we will not be able to execute your bid. To get a registered bidder number please call our office at 785-793-2500.

3. Minimum absentee bid that we will execute is $20.00 on any individual lot or item.

4. Applicable sales tax will be added to the sales total unless a tax-exempt number is on file in our office the day of the auction.

5. Successful bidders will be contacted on the first business day after the auction with winning bid information. It is very important that your contact information contain a phone number or email address where you can be contacted.

6. All successful bids must be paid for and picked up within 48 hours of being notified of being the winning bidder of an item or lot. For our purpose you will be considered notified if we leave you a massage on your cell phone, answering machine, or send a successful email notifying you of your winning bid.

7. Failure to pay for an item or lot, and/or, failure to pick the item or lot up within the allotted time will result in additional charges of five-dollars ($5.00) per day. If the item or lot is not paid for and picked up within five (5) business days the sales will be voided and the item or lot returned to inventory; and the bidder will loose the privilege of being able to leave absentee bids at future auctions.

8. Bids are executed in competition with the audience on an alternating basis. Due to uncertainties of bidding, a lot may sell to the audience for the same amount authorized by this absentee bid. To avoid this possibility, the absentee bidder may authorize RJ’s to increase his or her bid by one increment by placing a (+) sign beside the bid price.

9. I agree that the "Terms and Conditions of Auction" and "Information for Buyers and Sellers" that govern all purchases at auction that I make bind me.
